How to Obtain a B1/B2 Visa from India

Step 1: Fill out the DS-160 form online. 

This includes the following: 


A 10-digit barcode confirmation email 

Make a copy of the confirmation page. 


Pay the visa application cost in step two.

Step 3: Make an appointment. 

You must book two appointments online: 


For your biometrics and photos, go to the Visa Application Center (VAC). 

For your visa interview, go to the Consulate or Embassy.

Your Visa Fee receipt's CGI reference number. 

Your DS-160 confirmation page's ten-digit barcode number

The Visa Application Center (VAC) is sometimes referred to as Offsite Facilitation Centers (OFC), BioVisa, or Biometric Visa.
